Air bag lift problem 390QS

Have had a couple of incidents where the airbags did not lift up on starting the engine after sitting for a couple days.

This happened a couple of years ago, and I shut everything off, put the stabilizers back down, raised them again and started the coach and the bags deployed.

I phoned Freightliner and they told me that there was a certain window of opportunity between lifting the stabilizers and starting the engine before the electrical charge that switches the air valve around, activates.

This happened again to me this morning. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I start my engine and wait till the air has full pressure then lift my jacks... Some tell us here that there is a valve that is stuck and more pressure flips it over... For what it's worth.

I have it happen every now and then. I usually just turn the Equilizer jacks on and retract all. After this it will lift the front of the coach.

Same as trekdave 42, I've had it happen after my coach sits idle for a few weeks. Like Dave I just hit the all retract button and I'm good to go.

I learned this on the forum before I even picked up my Berkshire.
So I have never had the problem.

This happens somewhat often. I just hit the retract button a couple of times, light up the engine and walk around the coach to be sure of the height between the wheels and the wheel well opening.

I haven't had it happen yet. What I would like to have is what they put on the Fleetwoods, it's a switch on the dash (same as an eighteen wheeler) that allows you to dump the air bags before you level and even air the bags up before you retract. I had a Fleetwood and really appreciated that piece of equipment.

I do what TekDave42 does...I actually drove away once and got the rough ride of my life...scared the heck out of me...then when I shut down and restarted they inflated...later, I had this happen when I was at a campsite, noticed they didn't inflate and just hit retract all and when it was done, they started inflating.
