Allison 2500 transmission display

I bought my Berkshire used, and have problems seeing the RND shift modes at night. Should it be back lit with the head lights?

It should light up brightly. Turn the roller switch next to the headlight switch.

Yea that's what I thought, tried that but got nothing. I'm thinking I might have a light bulb burnt out.

Odd that should not just be one bulb. Maybe but I think there are several in there. Maybe a fuse? I would look at the 12v compartment below the driver.

I only asked about the map lights as I thought they might be in the same fuse.

Does the DNR light up during the daylight? If so, this is an odd problem. Maybe you should give a call to the FL Hotline.

Ok maybe there is a misunderstanding, the red D showing what gear the trans is in shows but the buttons DNR, is what I was wondering if they where back lit at night.

Now I see said the blind man. There are 4 allen head bolts that hold that control panel down. I would back those out and see if you can tell if there is a light bulb of some sort in there.
