Any Dometic Air Conditioner Experts/Techs on this site

My front Dometic AC is dripping water inside the coach (I know, shocking) from the rear of the unit where the cold air 'dump' vent is when I use it. A few days ago I took off the roof cowling and was trying to see where the water was getting in when I noticed a small (about 1/4" round) red 'derby hat' shaped cap covering a hole. I was wondering if anyone knew what the hole it was covering is and if that red cap should be removed. I didn't know if it was something that is just used when shipping the AC and should have been removed when the AC was installed.
The unit is a 15k btu unit.
Thanks for any info on this that can be provided.
