anyone else get the FR letter about service?

just got a letter today from FR about if your diesel rig is in for service for over 5 business days at an authorized service center, they want to know about it - directly from the customer!

gave number and email to inform them.

i personally think this is GREAT news that FR is interested in what service cycles are and what we are getting from the service network.

GREAT MOVE FR! Rock On!

Does it only apply to diesel rigs or did you get the diesel rig version of the letter? Just curious.

no date range mentioned. the letter seems like it is sent to new owners that are still in the warranty period.

you would contact dieselservice@forestriverinc.com or 574-522-1368.

also correction on the info in my first post.. it's 5 CALENDAR days, not 5 business days. which is even better!!!!

We bought a leftover 2011 in April of 2012 and we received a letter like that shortly after we took delivery. I have not had to use it yet but nice that they care.

I received that same letter. Very impressive! So far I have found their customer service to be excellent. I have an overweight 2013 390BH-40. Emailed Randy and within minutes we had it scheduled for tire and air bag replacement. They are working with me to fit it in during our vacation and promise it will just take half a day. Fortunately we will be very near Gaffney during the vacation next month. I'll report on it further once the upgrades are done.

I haven't received any such letter and fortunately my Ram has only been in for routine service.

FR should know I have a diesel by my profile information if that's what they are using.

Wonder why some have gotten this letter and some haven't.

FR is not talking about your Dodge Ram. They are only talking about product they produced. So the letter you received or didn't receive would be asking about service on the FR product.

That kind of makes sense, but I was not aware that FR "produced" or "produces" any diesel products.

Doed the letter that FR send out pertains to diesel equipped chassis that they then mount their coaches on. That would make more sense.

FR produces two diesel MHs. The Berkshire and the Charleston. I think that they are only interested in their own product and the time it takes the dealers to get them in and out for service. I'm sure Dodge has a program to track the service levels for their product.

i posted this in the berkshire subforum specifically. this particular post would not apply to any other FR product but the berkshire. the charleston may apply but since i don't own one of those nor does the letter mention the charleston, i cannot assume that connection.
