This has been hashed out before with no resolution for the Berkshire.
No sale! :-)

I'm afraid Turbs 8 foot shade doesn't work on a Berkshire either.

FYI, the very 1st 2 sets of poles I ever sold were installed on MH 3 yrs ago and both guys are still singing praises about them.

The 2nd set I sold went on a Carefree. He did have the lower poles extended 18" at the shop where I bought/buy my material. I can make a special set, but I will not ship them and I need to know just how high the tube is from the ground when the awning is deployed. I'm still contemplating getting material to make 10 sets. Would be no problem to get one or 2 sets of lower(outer bottom) poles special length.

Your signature does not include any information about your rig so I'm betting Paulie Boy figured maybe, just maybe, since you posted here that you had some sort of Berkshire he had not seen or heard of. He was simply asking if any Berkshire's had bumpers.

You then reply to his question and explode.

Just sent you a pm

On a Carefree, how far does the roller stick out past the material on each end?

The first set went to Gary Unger on a Bounder with no special lengths made, the 2nd set went to John Hodnett on a Winnebago Adventure. John had his outer poles extended 18".

So all you guys that say what can or can't be done or hasn't been solved or done are just speculating.

OC I'm kinda the guy that says never say never. I can't open my awning right now. At least I can't open it all the way. I will have to back up a bit as I had a tiki hut built on my lot. I mostly am interested in it for or lot in Michigan. Florida is not a problem. It would be nice to have the awning out with out worry. I'm in no hurry I guess is what I'm saying. I'll move the rig back and get some pictures. Do you know how they attached the kits to the CF awning. I guess I better get the ladder out and take a look at the top part.

Thanks Turbs. I'll take a look to see how it would work. There is enough pictures posted between you and OC to figure out how it connects. Now everyone take a deep breath and be nice. Lol. I add lol like a nervous laugh so I don't get whacked.

WIZARD Ron!! Perfect solution and you really would not need them unless you were camping long term!

I bow to your problem solving ability!

Neil, do you think you could adapt the above to your awning brackets?

I am willing to bet that attaching the bracket wouldn't amount to more that drilling a hole in the awning end piece. If the above mod could be made, it would be pretty simple to set up once the awning was extended. Comments?
