Base Plates and Skid plates OH MY!

You would think this would be an easily answered question but so far no joy - not even from Blue Ox. (Blue ox said it would be no problem as long as the skids & base do not use the same holes.)

2016 Jeep Cherokee (we pick it up tomorrow) We have the Blue Ox Baseplate and want to also install skidplates as well.

No one can tell us if we can do this or in what order we need to do this. At first blush, I'd suspect Blue Ox Baseplate then the skidplate.

Anyone out there have experience with this? Would love to hear your advice!

Hi Bob,

I looked at the installation instructions for both. I would but the Blue Ox Base plate on first then the Suspension skid plate. Otherwise you will need to remove the skid plat to install the base plate.
