You may want to pull it out of the box and make sure it's going to fit right before next spring. Just in case you plan on getting a refund if it doesn't fit.

Good idea, I will open it up and check it out for measurements and possible damage. I did measure the batteries before placing the order and they should fit in just right. The compartment is actually pretty big compared to the tray but will double check.

The 2012 has a slide on house batteries. Would not be without. Changing and maintaining without would be much more difficult.

Ok, inspection completed, no damage in shipments. Measurements double checked ( by my memory ) . Should be good to go in the spring. As it is it has about 1.5" of clearance for the tray to slide out built in so probably only need < 1" shim to open in compartment.

Joe, mine will be here tomorrow. I remeasured my compartment yesterday, and if I'm correct, no shim should be needed...about 1.25 inch height of the lower lip of compartment opening. That baby looks nice.

I'm on the same page, Joe. Just thought that some of our southern living Berkers might have taken the plunge....

Thank goodness my Berk already has a battery tray. Came with it. We have a 2010 BH. With a 2010 Jeep Wrangler ( inlander).
