Berk options

Hey, just wondering for you Berkshire (or Charleston) owners or perspective owners, which options would you like to see available? I personally would like to see a decent audio system up front for driving, an aqua hot option, electric power cord reel, third ac option, upgrade to isl engine option. Those options may raise the coach 10-20k, but would still make a great coach considerably less expensive than comparable coaches.

I would like a better awning, like the Girard (sp) that Newmar uses on the Dutch Stars and higher end coaches.

Aqua hot would be nice, side mounted engines for ease of maintenance. A bath & 1/2 floor plan that can sleep 6 adults, 43footer with tag.

I think that the newer awnings are going on the slides now, so the can extend out a little farther.

After a year of ownership, this is my current wish list:
LED lights in all awnings
No propane (Aquahot, Induction cooktop)
Flush fit slides
450hp Cummins
3 A/C units
Tag Axle

The Charleston has most of these already. A "no-propane" option would probably make me buy one now.

I have basically the same wish list. Entegra makes a nice coach with everything asked for here. The question is can I afford it?

I agree. If they would put the Aquahot in the Charleston I would probably pull the trigger.

Just the awning connected to the slide is all I wish for and should not raise the price of the Berk too much.

I'm afraid some of the things being requested would put it out of the 'best bang for the buck' category that we all boast about and love. I do not wish to change that.

There are more expensive coaches out there now with all those other things like 450HP, Aquahot, flush fit slides. Buy one and leave my Berkshire alone.

Maybe ask for some of these things on the Charleston?

Yes. We agree these need to be options on the Charleston.

I remember now. Saw it last year's Goshen.
Was told they could not retrofit to the older models though.

Ya, I was wondering if mine could be changed, also. Oh well. I agree that the Charlestons should have an aqua hot. I think I would have to consider them as well...

My thoughts....

Upgraded captains chairs. Stock are not the most comfy on long drives

Leather wrapped wheel with audio controls

Larger driver window to open. When i want to put my head out to back up or check a curb, it very low to peak through.

Led lights in the awning

Upgraded stereo and navigation

3rd AC unit
