Berk38A main TV

Has anyone tried to remove the main T.V.from the wall in their Berk.Trying to get to rear plugs on tv to change sound bar and can't figure out how to remove tv to access .

Yes...assuming yours is like mine...... I will attempt to describe, and the terms are meant to be descriptive not always correct....(see quotes)

There is a bracket on the wall with two horizontal "bars", about 14-16" long and about 1/3 in from the top and 1/3 from the bottom. The tv has "hooks" on the back that hang on the top bar. On the bottom there are two pieces that slide under the bottom bar and then are secured with set screws. They are allen wrench screws and you need a long allen wrench and very thin hands to come up from the bottom of the TV and loosen the screws. Once loose, the bottom of the TV comes out towards you and you lift the whole thing up and off the bracket.

I suggest getting a mechanics mirror and a flash light to look up behind the TV from the bottom to locate the set screws.

Ya,already did the mirror thing.Saw the allen screws and was not sure if that was all that was holding pieces together.Thanks for the reply.
