berkshire 400QL

We currently have a 2013 Coachman Encounter but are looking at a 2015 Berkshire 400Ql. Looking for comments from any Berkshire owner as to how they like their 400 QL

We've had ours almost two years now and absolutely love it.

No complaints. The few minor issues we had were taken care of last year at Goshen.

If you like the floor plan, you wont be sorry.

mapdjp:

I guess you noticed by now that the 400QL seems to be a rare animal. At least on the forum.
But don't let that stop you.

Just a general comment to those out there who may know - was the 2015 model year one of the units that need a factory upgrade for the axels (because of the addition of the tile floors)?

mapdjp, if the axels to need to be upgraded, this should NOT be a dealbreaker for you! FR will make good.

We love the QL floor plan with the exception of the "L" shaped couch. Not very comfortable and a full grown adult could never sleep on it. We are upgrading to two wall hugger recliners and a table from Lambright's Comfort Chair. Install scheduled for May 11th.

As far as Kenny and I know we are the only QL's on the forum.

Paul,

Was your 400QL one of the units that needed to have a axel upgrade? (Trying to pin this info down for mapdjp)

I have a 2014 390 FL. had a hot water issue early on. Never one other problem. You will be happy with a Berkshire.

Not as far as I know! The only axel issues were pre 2013 or 14 as far as I know. I know my 2014 390BH-60 didn't have issues and that unit had polished porcelain tile floors as well.

Which Berkshire do NOT have bunks? We are looking at a Winnebago Tour. We currently have a Georgetown 378 but want something longer with diesel and a bath and a half.

Any model listed as a BH had bunks. A RB has a rear bath and a half bath.
RB is the only model with a bath and a half.

Berkshire owners are even more rabid than Apple Computer fanboys in their love of their machines

No need to limit yourself Buddy - Subsailor got his from (I think, FL) and had it delivered to his house outside Seattle!
