When I slide my gen out, I noticed that there's a space between the front of the gen and the fiberglass section on the slide.... I think I'll attach a bar across that open area and hang my hose there... Be totally out of the way and easy to get to....

Not sure how this is measured. All my shop stuff fits in there, the thread on those is just under 1/2"
The wide ring on the business end of the connectors is 7/16"
The very tip is just over 5/16"

That's what I replied. All my standard shop stuff fits in there but I am not sure what size they are, and how it's measured.
The numbers I gave you are for those fittings. None of the measurements are exactly 1/4" or 3/8", so it's a nominal thing. But with the numbers I gave you and the packaging you should be able to figure it out.

Ernest, glad you got it installed, you will find out how easy to use the air coupling without all the presure. I'm with you, need to find a good way to store the hose up front. Guess that will wait until we get home from Mesa in a couple of weeks.

Skip, if you look at my pics in post #14, you might do the same or get ideas.

Skip & Earnest,
I was thinking of something like this -- I use these for all my extension cords. Works great for water hoses too but you can only put a 25' hose on the XL reel.

Question: Should I use "regular" teflon tape on the Threads of the fittings, or is it advisable to use the yellow gas teflon tape?
