This is a great idea. I was wondering what the status of this proposed club is.

There are about 12 or 13 people interested in the Berkshire club. Any suggestions as to what our next steps should be will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I think that those of us who are interested should explain what we would like to see in a Berkshire Club.
I would be interested in the exchange of information and better working ideas pertaining to our specific units. Also I would like to see a campground rally at least once a year. It would be great to meet the people that you exchange information with here on this wonderful site.

I'm interested in joining the Berkshire Club. We live in Wake Forest, NC. We are making plans to travel this summer up to Niagra Falls then over (and down) to NY city (my youngest wants to see the lady with the fire in her hand...) then down through DC and back home to Wake Forest. I'll be asking for all sorts of advice from you New Yorker's!

we would be interested in a club...what has happened to the idea? This is our first major trip out with our Berkshire and love everything about it with the exception of lack of power.

I dunno what engine they have, but we have the larger option, and when heading west out of Denver on I-70, my rig slowed to between 35 and 40 mph climbing up to Idaho Springs. We were towing a 4500 lb minivan. Tomorrow, we'll be going over the top through the tunnel but we won't be hitched - I don't have an auxiliary braking system yet on the minivan and don't want to stress the coach's system on the west side of the pass.

We just went from Orlando to Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore and back to Orlando. We climbed some big hills. We were also towing a Honda CRV. We slow down going up hills but not any more than the big 18 wheelers do. In many case we were passing them. The power is at a comfortable level for us. I don't think we've ever slowed down to a point that was slower than the posted limit. We have the standard 340hp unit.
From what I understand the 340 and 350 are the same engine, just tuned different and mated to a larger transmission.

I know it is kinda of a late notice but just found out we will be at the Villages at Turning Stone (just outside of Syracuse, NY) this weekend. If anyone is available and it there are sites available, it would be great if you could get there. (arriving mid day FRI leaving on Monday)
