Have any of you kids upgraded your "significant other's" seat? I'd love to upgrade ours. I noticed that the passenger seat 40 BH has a foot rest and is a power seat too.
My wife would be a lot more comfortable.

Our 2012 390BH60 has on in the passenger seat. My wife loves it although I find that it has been made for someone well under 6 feet in height

The passenger had the footrest and both have adjustable armrests. Much softer and better Quality.

We bought the 2016 38a and although it's leather it isn't as nice as the leather chair that Phil and Dianna have. As a former cow pounder I know leather quite well. Don't want to cut the seat but I bet it's pig leather we are sitting on now. lol

No it's not leather. I had planed to get leather but Brad (Brad and Hall) talked me out of it. I forget the brand of fake leather it is but it is comfortable and is wearing very well so far.

We need to add Phil's upgraded seats to the Berkshire list. I hate the seats in mine. I'll watch TV outside so I don't have to sit in them.

Where would we get the upgraded seats; and, what should we expect to pay?

I used Brad and Hall in Elkhart. They did the seats and recliners. Replaced the dinette with a desk and table and a few other things.

I would love to hear Bradd and Hall's argument against leather.

Russell, not too bad. But I'm 5'7" and I wish that I could just get close enough to be able to drape my arms over the wheel to the top without stretching. I'm good at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions. Driving long distances, it's easier to keep the arms closer together in the 11 and 1 position for me. Checked at factory, but they won't change d/t liabilities. Could probably machine something, but it's not intolerable, just would be more comfortable with a couple of inches closer. That being said, I've driven 8-10 hours and not been too fatigued. Coach is a blast to drive.

I believe mine has a tilt wheel. I can't check until I get mine back from service.

I wish the tilt would come down maybe just two more gradients.
