Berkshire Dinette Slide Creeps Out

I have a 2014 Berkshire 400QL. Just returned from a short 3 week trip and find the dinette slide creeps out 3-4 inches while parked. I have followed the procedure in the Equalizer document and it stills creeps. Some say it is the o-ring in the solenoid valve. Others says leaky cylinder. What about the anti-creep valve? Anyone else have this problem? Looking for suggestions and/or procedures before taking to the shop! Thanks for any help. Be safe on the roadways of the USA!

It is almost always the cylinder getting blow by because the seals get damaged or the anti-creep valve. With the slide fully extended check the ram of the cylinder for any scratches or Knicks which damages the seals. If so, the cylinder usually needs to be replaced.

I have the same coach. When it was new the kitchen slide would creep out, while driving or parked. They said they replace the anti Creep valve. It did fix the problem. Hope this helps

Change the piston & anti-creep valve (should be done as a set), you'll be fine.

What's the difference in a "short" 3 week trip and a "long" 3 week trip?

I was thinking if your retired- 52 weeks in a year- 3 weeks =short, if you are still working 3 weeks= long.

But I guess 3 long weeks could be you have your mother in-law with you.
