Don't you have a 110 outlet in the inverter bay?

Anyone on that has done this mod ? Have the handle off. Does the clear part of handle come a part from chrome base ? Trying to figure if you just slide the light into the chrome base from the bottom and hope it never slides back out or if it's suppose to slide in from the top down into the chrome base, in which case I would think that they would come apart but I don't want to try and force it unless in fact it's suppose to come apart.

Just slide it up the metal bracket as far as it will go. In my case it stayed right there.

Thanks for the response Paul. So I did realize that the handle is solid plastic and not hollow glass like a flourescant light bulb. My light in the handle was loose as a goose so I used a wad of hot glue inside to hold the wire up in place to the handle. Should be good to go.

So after doing this mod and waiting till after dark I'm somewhat disappointed, thought it would be somewhat brighter. When ordering there was a choice between white, blue, and red. I chose the red.

We are parked under a street light so it doesn't show as bright.

I was thinking Joe do you really want a red light on the MH? You do know where the term red light district comes from right? LOL

Hey I may have gained a couple odd pounds here and there but I was thinking drumming up a little extra cash for myself. Wise guy !

Already ordered the white and red's going back. Just tried to be a little different.
