Berkshire Serial Number?

Got a letter from DMV asking for the "Serial Number" (NOT the VIN) of my coach. Searching through the various stickers inside the driver's-side upper cabinet, the closest thing I see is BEZ50045 / BE360QS-30. My Berk is a 360QS.... so would the BEZ50045 be the serial?

I'm almost certain the BEZ number is in fact your S/N

Yes - I just did the DMV thing last week and that is indeed your SN.

WFD: I too thought the VIN was the serial until I got the DMV letter. Apparently, the VIN refers to the chassis/drivetrain components provided by Freightliner. The Serial is assigned by Forest River to identify the remainder of the coach built on the chassis. At least that's what I think I understand. I've provided the 'BEZ'-prefixed number to DMV. If they don't like it, I'm confident they will let me know...

I THINK there is a chassis VIN PLUS a coach(FR) VIN PLUS a serial number; may be wrong though.

The Berkshire serial number is the last six places (letters and numbers) of your VIN.
