We have a big fundraiser on August 20th for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society so I will not make it this year but already have it on my calendar for 2017. You can read my story at My Fundraising Page
I look forward to 2017 and wish you all a great Rally.

Karen,
In one of the the vendor buildings (there are two, right next to the big dining hall) there will be a FROG booth...kind of a clearinghouse for everything rally-related. In that FROG booth you'll find a list of people looking for tour tickets. Anybody that can't make their tour can "turn in" there reservations there, and they will go to the next person on the waiting list. Last year, there was no "early" waiting list sign-up...it had to be done at the fairgrounds, once the rally opened.

Thank you for the info Mike. I bet since some of the tours sold out so quickly there are going to be a lot of people looking for extra tickets once the rally starts.

The tours book fast. The whole rally is just about sold out. In less than 58 hrs they had over 700 rigs registered for the rally.
I did the bison tour last year. Well worth it. We took a frozen bison roast home with us. Highly recommend this one. We did a day outing on the SS Lillypad last year as well. It was a great cruise and the boat is docked at Frog Tavern. Gotta love it.

HAHA I had a side bet with FROG Bob that the rally would be sold out in a week....he was not so sure...just getting back into the swing of things from the hospital - what's the update? Is the rally sold out?

FROG Bob said as of yesterday the 2016 International Rally in Goshen is now completely sold out! I am glad I registered early!!
Bob said they will be doing a "stand-by wait list" but I don't know when the list will be posted.
Someone mentioned a "Garage Sale" type of event at one of the previous rallies. Does anyone know if they will have something like that again this year? What are the guidelines for selling an item?
Thanks,
Karen

Karen,
Traditionally, the "RV Garage Sale" is held on Friday morning in the main hall (where we have our meals) Folks will gather in the South corner, grab a table, and put out the stuff they have for sale. The Garage sale is usually well received (I have sold everything I have brought for the past 3 years)
No real guidelines - just bring it, put a $$ amount tag on it and see what happens!

Pretty much as Bama Bob said. The garage sale is intended primarily for RV-related items that you no longer need or want, and it's a chance to find really great deals, but isn't limited to RV items.
No weapons, dangerous or illegal or "inappropriate" items, but otherwise there are really no other restrictions. (If you have to think about whether an item is inappropriate, it probably is.) Please remove anything that hasn't sold at the end of the event.

Thank you for the info Bob and Bob. Rick bought a new Demco tow bar assembly so he will probably want to sell the old Roadmaster Falcon II set up. We will bring it along.

Neanderthal,
I am sorry we won't see you at the rally, but I understand why you can't be there. I am thankful you are feeling better. Good Luck with the Fund Raiser.
