Best Mounting location for cellular/wifi roof antenna

I am installing a Parsec Doberman 5-n-1 cellular/wifi roof antenna for my Pepwave BR1 Mk 2 router in the front right OVHD cabinet in front of the entry door. I am just wondering if anyone has similar experience and any tips or tricks, and where the best location is to put it on the roof. My 39A has the drop-down bunk above the driver/passenger seats, so I am looking for a location that will feed into the side cabinet trio above the entry door. Thanks.

Hope there's nothing in the way

The antenna can go anywhere on the roof, but it only has 84" of cable to connect to the router. I am concerned about drilling down thru the roof into the area above the liftable bunk bed and so I wanted to see if anyone had done this on a 39A before.

If you have to drill a hole in the roof use a foot entry plate like the one that Winegard uses for the satellite cable entry. I’ll try and find a source.

Thanks

What is the purpose of this part? I am mounting the antenna on a 16” diameter grounding plate per the antenna manufacturer’s recommendations. I just was looking for some cable routing recommendations.

It’s not a plate to mount the antenna but a way to bring the antenna cable through the roof and seat it properly with Dicor self leveling sealer. I am assuming that the antenna cable is a small diameter coax.

You might want to call a dealer and see if they would install it for you. I say that as now if there is a leak issue, you have someone to fall back on, vs doing it your self. I myself have never installed one, but i know dealers do things like that on an everyday basis.
