Anyone else have inconsistent indications on the tank levels? The last couple times I've dumped my black tank it never showed less than 1/3 afterwards. So today, before dumping I had the hose on the back flush on and then pulled the handle. Left the hose on for a moment and then dumped grey. It finally indicated empty after doing that. However, after flushing down the tank formula, the indicator now shows full. I never did like the light indicators, is there a better way?
Tank indicators are prone to inaccurate readings just based on they way they are designed. If you rinsed the tank, it may return to normal readings once it dries out some. Your gut is the best indicator
Our Black water tank has always shown full since new. Even had them look at it at the factory we just needed to get back on the road so we just live with it.

Our Black water tank has always shown full since new. Even had them look at it at the factory we just needed to get back on the road so we just live with it.
Our 2015 Berkshire black tank indicator has never worked right. I see the same things the OP mentions. Fully drain the tank, it will show empty, flush the chems down and it shows 1/3 full. Sometimes works right, most times not.

I've been told that the indicators could have buildup on them. Once I leave stone mountain I'm going to dump 3/4 fresh water in my black tank and add two bags of ice. Heard this may work to clear debris off sensors. See what happens.

Same situation here. Drain tank, shows empty. Flush chemicals and some water down shows 1/3 full. Use toilet once or twice and it shows full. Saw that Rid-X (the same company that makes chemicals for home septic tanks) has a holding tank chemical that is supposed to break everything down so am going to try that.
