Black Tank levels

When one has emptied their black tank, how much water do you put back into it as a starting base?

I normally put in at least 5 gallons, sometimes 10 gallons. I carry a 5 gallon bucket. Sometimes I just let the Cleanout spray continue to work, close the dump valve and give it a few minutes to put water in the tank. Just don't forget that you got the valve closed and start something else.

Thanks. That's what I was doing, because it made sense. Just testing the water out there. 😄
