Bunk/Wardrobe Slide

Well, it finally happened to me. I was winterizing my coach last week and was bringing the slide in when there was this loud bang. I didn't know what the problem was. I saw that the the cables on the slide were loose so I thought that maybe the cables had broken. I was able to get a mobile tech here to look at it and turns out that it was worse than just a broken cable. It seems that the slide motor had ripped off the wall. Luckily, the tech that came was able to reattach the motor to the wall and adjust the cables. Seems to be working OK now and hopefully this will not happen again.

If this is the first failure you're in better shape than we were. Hopefully fixed better than new.

I had the same problem on my 2014 Berkshire 400BH while in Ft Myers. Called LazyDays where I purchased it they said they could see me in 3 months, called Camping World Ft Myers they saw me the next day to the tune of 1600 dollars all labor. Happy I had my extended warranty on the RV.
