By-passing “Water-fill” and going directly into tank

Anyone made an attachment that will allow u to fill ur freshwater tank “without” using the fill in the water compartment?????

I’m thinking it would be really simple to make a fitting that would screw onto the fitting shown in the above picture.... put a female hose fitting on the opposite end and u should be able to shoot water directly into the tank....

This could be used in an emergency situation when ur on the road and suddenly ur check-valve on the fill fitting stops working..... AND no one near you has a replacement available....

Think I’m gonna make one when I get close to a Lowe’s or Home Depot so I can get the materials.....

Why don't you put a 3way valve in that line with the female hose connector on the T.... That way you don't lose the vent.

That said, not sure I need this.....The fill on the other side does the same thing... just a little further away.....

Water good. Congrats on another successful fix without it sitting in a dealer parking lot for 3 weeks and paying them $500 to fix it, and break something else.

I did the mod to use my water pump to pump the water from jerry cans in water tank. Pictures in my post from last month:
