Cable hookup locations

Berkshire 08 360qs has 2 locations in basement for cable(satellite) incoming cable to hookup to the coach. One is in the compartment that houses the shore power cord and the other is on the starboard side up frount where the shelves are in the compartment. My problem. The one in the rear compartment works fine, but the one in the forward compartment does not send a signal to the tv. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a thought, but it may be off base a bit because I have a 2013 Berk. Since we all have the "normal" hookup on the drivers side back by the inverter somewhere, that is the "real one" for you as well. I am betting the one on the passenger side is actually an output for an outside TV and is/was kind of the 2008 precursor of them adding the outside TVs on the coaches. A good way to check would be to hook up to known cable using the one aft/drivers side and then see if you can get an output signal from that one on the passenger side. -Glenn

Thanks! That sounds like a very plausible explanation, especially since there is also a 110 volt outlet in the same location.

We have a outlet also in front cabinet and we placed a tv in the cabinet and works great.
