clutch fan

2015 Berkshire 360QS. Had a problem w/ the clutch fan last year. Had it replaced. Now when pulling the boat (6000 #) it gets hot on long pulls then cools down coming down the hills. Hot I mean 215 going up and back to 189 to 196 going down, boat or no boat. Took it our diesel mech. he said the clutch fan was working properly and since we were leaving that day, his only solution was to unplug the clutch fan as we already had reservations for that evening and the following week. This would leave the fan engaged all the time, old school. He unplugged the clutch fan and the r.v. ran the coolest it ever has since buying it a year and a half ago. My son didn't pull the boat, I did w/ my expedition, which always seems to runs cooler, and isn't affected by long pulls or heavy loads. My cat has been computer elevated to, I think a 350, not totally sure on that. But I know the h.p. was raised by doing something w/ a computer, I was told by the dealer I bought it from. So our question is, is it harmful to run the Berkshire the way it is, with the clutch fan unplugged, so it's always engaged? Not concerned about mileage. The mech. wants to keep researching until he finds a cause. Thanks.
