This is the condition of the passenger chair on my 2014 390BH-60. When you try to rotate the chair towards the living area it tilts drastically. Any suggestions?

If it sat level would one of the arm rests hit something when you pivot it around?

If not then loosen the nuts and place the washers under the mount like the other three.

Take all the washers out from under the front?

I don't see how the seat can be level the way it is with the washers under the nut on one side and under the seat base on the other. I would do as Ford Idaho stated and move the washers to under the seat base.

Having the seat set up on washers is just asking for it to break one or 2 corners off the base. Remove the washers and set it down on the floor. IMHO

The seat is level the way it it now. The washers are all in front of the pedestal.

Something has to be bent or put together wrong above where the seat swivels. Can you post a pic of the swivel section? Or compare how your driver's seat is mounted.

As Cajun stated, something must be bent if it is level with the washers set up as pictured.

So do we understand that the bolts in the front of the chair have the washers under the mount and the bolts in the rear of the of chair have the washers above the mount? I might have it backwards but the front is one way and the back is another? It is not side to side right?

It might just be something they did to adjust the seat level. Maybe they were trying to give it a bit more recline.

You can always adjust the washers if you see fit.

Vin.

Got it. Evidently previous owner didn't like the seat horizontal. Pulled washers and reinstalled the seat. Everything works fine and the Bride say the chair is fine. I thought it might that simple. Thanks for all the input.

I'll bet the mount in attached to the seat in reverse... The front of the mount is facing the rear I'll bet... Remove the mount from both the floor and the chair, rotate it 180 degrees, reattach to floor and remount chair and most likely problem solved ....

So, the picture shows the shims (metal o-rings) installed so the chair is tilted. If you want your co-pilot chair to not tilt remove the nut and o-rings. Put the o-rings under the chair base plate and tighten down the nut like shown in Pic #1.

Better to put the washers on top of the base to prevent the stress and possible breaking of the corners of the base.
