Co/propane alarm replacement FUSE

So It was time to replace "sniffer" as it had expired. Had to cut wires to stop alarm. Now had to wait 6 months 6/16/22 to get aa new one. Tried to install but no 12 volt power. Looked for 5 amp fuse everywhere! Got in touch with Forest river & they said it was in the coach battery compartment, but there was none. They suggested looking in the inverter compartment, but I didn't see what they said I should find, but I did find a bank of breakers & also a lone fuse in a separate holder, dam fuse was marked with a "E", yup an "E". Checked it out & yes is had blown. went back & hooked up sniffer & then re-installed new fuse & all is good! I hope I've attached the file picture where the 5 amp fuse is in the inverter compartment!

Yes they do stupid stuff like that. I was doing some up grades on our Class C I had to remove the step cover on the drivers side and under was two fuses. Found out they were for the slide outs. Who the heck thought that was a good place to hide fuses.

So multiplexing is helping not have so many inline fuses, in my mind its wont of the greats benefits. As a manufacture we build walls, floors, and ceilings and then install others equipment. most of this others equipment will that there own inline fuses. Years ago you would have to take down false panels in cabinets to have access to inline fuses, but now they are being converged to a brain panel that is located underneath the bed base in our diesel product. cant really say much for the class c guys, as i have never been a rep for those products, but over time I would expect some of the multiplexing to work its way down to that Product level.
