creaky floor

Any other 390fl owners that have a creaky dinette slide floor when not extended? If so, I think I've found a solution. If not, I guess I'm the only one...

I've got a creaky floor near my dinette close to fridge... Very irritating....

The underlayment is made of plywood. I would suspect a screw has backed out or just stripped the wood causing the creak.

What I found was that if you look under the carpet when the slide is in, you can see a gap. When the slide extends, it drops down when it gets to the end. I got some furniture sliders and modified the by placing a cord on the edge and placed them under the gaps with the slide retracted. The cords are there to allow me to see where they are pkace so that I can pull them out before I extend the slide. I'll include some pics. It solidifes the floor and prevents the dive boarding action that causes the creeping. I have not had a chance to drive the coach with them in yet.
