dash heater

When I select the setting on the dash heater to discharge from the dash and floor vents the cab a/c runs. This should only happen when a/c or defrost is selected. Could someone else try there coach and let me know if yours operates the same way? I have a spare heater control but don't want to create work for myself if I'm mistaken about the operation.

On the right side where the controls are located do you have a little button for ac, did it get pushed in?

When you say the AC turns on, do you mean the loud fan you here coming from the front underside? If so this is normal.

Yes that is the fan I was speaking of. There is also condensate dripping from the condensor that fan sits on top of. Thanks for your response. Keeps me from having to change out the control.
