Hammer, slip joint pliers, torque wrench for lugs, wire stripper-crimper, duct tape, flare for ignition if the above don't fix it. ;-)

Go to a HW store and buy a complete kit usually about 180 items. It is self contained and it will have everything you need til you need something. Then it won't be in the kit LOL. Pack a voltmeter also

Addendum...tools
Let me get serious then...again, keep this thread going...is the BEST!
Did not read all the pages on this thread (mushrooming...yes!) but let me add...I hope...
1) A complete DREMEL kit, plus DREMEL tool, of course. Drilling, grinding,
cutting, etc., et al, and one high-pitched annoyance for the neighbors...
2) Aluminum, lightweight 3-step ladder...Lowes has a nice one or two!
3) California water blade to quickly squeegee the wet MH (or?) virtually
streak free.
4) Oh yeah, and TONS of 2" grey duct tape, which already has been multi-mentioned! DON'T get the cheap kind tho...you'll regret it.
This is a gift from GOD, ya know... and Red Green (too!). ;]
(Is worth more than toilet paper, anyday! My DW does not agree )
5) Small bottle of Gorilla glue.
6) One Delcast magnetizer\demagnitizer ($3-4...eBay?) to mag your driver
bits for holding screws while probing those hard to reach places while
your body is convoluting into a pretzel-like position while on your back...
7) HF has (had?) a chinky, but useable, 130-piece toolkit that come packed
in a nice flat case with handle which I keep on the floor right behind my
driver's seat. Got it for around $29- 3-weeks ago but now at their parking
lot "sale" they had it up to $39 (go figure?). Wait it out...check it out.
8) to be cont...
Hope some of these help too. Keep 'er going!

No mention of 18 volt tools? Again, HF:
Cordless Drill/Driver and Flashlight Kit, 3/8", 18 Volt
Volt 1/4 in. Cordless Impact Driver
Not the best but I have found these quite useful. The cordless impact won't break your wheel lugs but works great for raising and lowering my rear stabilizers. I have a 1/2 inch Ryobi impact that works for the lugs. Don't take it for weekend trips but will if going any distance or time.
Had 3 3/8" bolts I couldn't get loose one day. Got the Ryobi out and it snapped the bolts! I was really surprised at the power it has!

Well since everyone is carrying everything but a spare kitchen sink(sure someone is now on the way to get one). I'm going to save fuel. I will take my tools out and ask my neighbors to borrow theirs.😉

I carry 1 of those 50'ish assorted tool kits, several different kinds of pliers and screwdrivers, some handfuls of screws, bearings/seals/grease, some of the normal stuff. Maybe 20 lbs total. If I need something specific, there is a hardware store usually not far away that might have what I need.
We've had our 2012 model for 4 years and there is still some empty cabinets inside. If we don't use it, we don't take it.
Of course, if we traveled more and were on the road more, we might have a reason to accumulate more "stuff".

One I consider invaluable is a LED light mounted on a headband. Allows you to keep two hands on the job. Have you ever tried tackling a job at night in the pouring rain while swatting mosquitos and holding a flashlight under your arm?

I have scaled back on what I haul... but now I see why one guy posted a good while back "Everyone who RVs carries 1000 lbs. of tools in the truck." At the age of 68, I don't ever plan on doing a full engine overhaul in the bar ditch. I doubt if I'll pull and replace the water heater in my trailer in a campground. My trip prep checklist now includes the category
DECIDE- Take or Don’t Take
because it seems like we just keep accumulating more stuff we don't/seldom use. I am adopting Timex's philosophy.

One probable with Timex's philosophy,,,
If you are camping in a MH with no Toad,,,
That means you have to brake camp to go to that Hardware store !!!
That is why I need my DWs help lifting my tool bag !!!
