Dometic Furnace questions

My coach has a front and rear furnace, yes it also has 2 air conditioners. Last night my rear furnace quit and the Dometic control panel displayed 'C5' for the rear (Zone 2) furnace. I turned it OFF for quite a while. Then turned it back to FURN and it did start producing heat. In fact I'm not sure it turned off. I had the thermostat set at 64º. And I promise you it reached a temp well above that but it never shut off. When I check the Dometic temp for Zone 2 it shows 32º.
I purchased this unit last year, and do not have a Manual.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, as you can see I have not done any real diagnostic work yer.

you might try a quick 'reset' solution - push the 'USE/STORE' switch at the door to 'STORE', wait a moment, then back to 'USE'... this will disconnect all your 12v devices like Thermostats, and may be the reset it needs to go back to working as 'normal'...

Zone 2 showing 32ºF means that the thermostat isn't reading the remote thermistor. You can pull the front off and see if you can remove and reseat the connectors on the board and see if that helps. If not then you can test the thermistor with a multimeter if you have one.

Thanks Rambler, what you wrote makes sense.
Last night I left Zone 2 in the OFF position for several hours. The correct temp reading started reading later in the night and all worked well. The next time I have problems I'll do the multi meter test
