Just a tip...when I load the fridge for the first time on a trip, I put a few frozen items in both the fridge and freezer. I usually have a gallon jug frozen solid from my home freezer that I put in the RV freezer and two smaller vessels in the fridge (I use the mostly square plastic containers of cocoa almonds or other nuts they sell at SAMs)
I think this helps me conserve propane and also get the food to a safer temperature faster.
A 2 fans on the outside blowing on the coils and 2 on the inside for circulation will work wonders on cooling. We can get our frig down to 29 and the freezer to 4 with the 4 fans running in 80° ambient with temp setting @ 3. Both compartments are empty and doors have been closed for several days.
When we start using it, both compartments will raise about 4°-5° normally.
