When mine was taking forever to cool, I switched to LP. Temp got down to 50, so I thought I would try electric again to verify if it was the problem. Electric worked fine and took the temp to 34. It seems that for whatever reason, it needed an LP kick start. I know this won't help with a known outage, but I figured I would post it for those that are experiencing a slow start.
