E5 Code when trying to use the A/C

Hello everyone,

I went out today to prep for an upcoming trip and when I attempted to turn on the rear A/C, I received an E5 code on the thermostat. After receiving the code, the unit shut off.

2013 390BH
Dometic Thermostat - model 3312024
Penguin II Heat Pump

Per Owners manual - E5 Code
Open circuit or out of range Freeze Sensor. Air conditioner and dehumidification
operation will be locked out. Heat pump, furnace, heat strip and fan operation
can continue to operate but displays the last temperature set-point.

Action Taken - Changed fuse

Thanks in advance for any input that you may have.....

Possible space A//C is in, could be too hot. Sensor acts when frozen up or too hot. Cool down with outside air should start if not defective.

It is about 75 degrees and raining, so it looks like we are going for a ride tomorrow. Front A/C works like a charm. This would happen 7 days before we take off on a trip...
