Electrical issues

We have a 2009 390BH after running a space heater, and blowing something, we reset the fuses it didn't work then while explaining it to a friend we suddenly had power. The next time I went in the coach, no power. Took it to the shop, power, brought it home, no power. Played with the "store/use" switch, we had power, then no power. The battery indicator goes from full to empty. Please help. We are plugged into 50 amp. Thanks!

The battery indicator going from full to empty is a pretty good clue.

When you say "empty" you mean no lights at all or the bottom one "on" only. With your other problems I am going to say "no lights at all." Right?

That meter requires 12VDC to work and gets its power from a tap off the output on your house power converter.

Full means the converter is charging your battery; Bottom light "on" means there is at least 6 volts of power to the display. No lights means no DC power at all.

It sounds like your power center could be shorted internally (or the fan is burned out) and is overheating. When it overheats it shuts down to avoid damage to its components and your coach's appliances. When it cools off it should work until it overheats again.

Unplug the coach from the pedestal and let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes, check the battery monitor and let me know what lights are on "if any."

Plug the coach back into shore power and see if you have power.
Listen for the cooling fan. Let us know what you find.
