Exhaust tube

I've been researching an exhaust tube to vent the generator fumes up towards the roof area. The tailgate area that I will be frequenting requires one if I need to use the generator.

I've looked at the Camco product and it seems like it might do the job if I do something about the factory exhaust tip. Is anyone using a Camco-like tube without having to alter the FR generator tip? If anyone has some pictures of what you've come up with, please post them.
