Exterior entertainment center radio

Just realized that my exterior radio mounted under the tv is wired into my chassis batteries not my house batteries. I figured this out because I turned the chassis batteries off and the radio is dead. Also the main awning is powered by the chassis batteries. Is anyone else's ext radio run off the chassis batteries also and is this normal? This will wear your chassis batteries down unless you start the coach every so often!
