Exterior entertainment center TV swap

Incase anyone was wondering if you could put a larger TV in your ext ent center, you can. I ordered my 2014 390BH with the ext ent center 32 inch TV. In my opinion the TV looked to small for the opening and looked a little weird. I took some measurements and went out today and purchased a 39 inch LED TV and it fit perfect! Took about 30 minutes to do the swap and I think it makes a huge difference. The TV fills the space now and looks great. I posted a picture below incase anyone was wondering how it looked.

It was actually really easy!! There are three silver star head screws on each side of the TV. Unscrew all six and the whole thing comes out. It is a bracket and the TV mounts right to it. Once out unscrew the four screws that hold the TV to it and put the bracket on the new TV and reinstall the wires and and screw it back in. It was a tight fit so I took the hydraulic supports out to make it easier putting it back in and replacing the 6 silver screws. Just a note, use a square head bit to unscrew them. I couldn't find any star head bits that would fit but the square head was perfect.

Added it to our game room so now the kids can have one for their play station and one for X-box... No more fighting over Who gets to play now!! LOL!! Only downer is there is no stand for the TV so you have to mount it on the wall or order a stand online... Overall, kids are happy and I'm happy with the bigger TV and the wife well, she's happy if I'm happy!!! LOL!!

Nice DIY, looks great. What model TV is that?

I would also like to put a different mount in there. The kind that pulls out and turns both ways. I haven't found one that looks like it would fit in there yet. I'm still hunting for it.

What does the switch say? Kind of blurry when I blow it up to read it. My 2013 BH doesn't have whatever it is. Being a HD/Audio nerd, I'm intrigued.

What are the three positions that you can switch between? My 2013 outside TV came piggy-backed off of the one over the driver's seat. I had to rewire all the cables to be able to watch satellite/cable, dvd, or OTA without affecting the inside tv's.

I had the factory add an outside entertainment center because mine didn't come with one but I don't have a switch like that one. Has anyone found a swing arm bracket that will fit in the hole. Would be nice to be able to bring the tv out of the hole and turn it for better viewing from the cheap seats. Frank

Terrilegacy- I have the same control panel on my 14. Can't get it to do anything. Looks like it would feed television or sound from the other TV's but I gave up trying to figure it out.

Did you ever figure out the switch? What are the labels on the three positions?
