FCOC Michelin Tire program

Has anyone purchased new tires through this program and is it available for auto tires? Want to get new tires for my car and was wondering if it was worthwhile looking at this.
Thanks

Tom I believe they expanded the program to include car and truck tires. Not sure what the discount is.

Tom, purchased ours thru the program, was $503 per tire, saving about $80 per tire, but you have to add the taxes, mounting, balance nd disposal fees to that. Pretty sure it works with cars also.

Man, that's an extra 1000 bucks for the Berk tag. I'm dying to take one for a test drive to see if it will be worth the extra cost....bet it will

I got mine last spring. If I remember I saved maybe $80 per tire for the Berkshire. They have also expanded it to Goodyear tires.

Tom I'm sorry I miss read your post. I have never heard of a tire discount from FCOC. I assumed you were talking about the FMCA discount.

Not that I'm aware of. They are two completely different organizations. FCOC is a Freight Liner owners group and FMCA is the Family Motor Coach Association. They have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
If anyone isn't a member of FMCA I strongly encourage you to take a look. Some of the benefits are just excellent and well worth the 40$

It is still two different organizations. A membership in FMCA will not give you membership in FCOC and Vice versa. Benefits are also different. I was aware that FCOC was a chapter but not the history. Thanks.

FCOC began life as a chapter of FMCA but about a year ago it split off to its own origination. One no longer has to belong to FMCA to belong to FCOC. The tire program however is FMCA. I do not think FCOC has one.

Michelin tire program

I ordered 6 235/80r/22.5, told by dealer 4 weeks back order, waited 4 weeks, no tires. Called Michelin direct and was told another 4 weeks back order. Frustrated, I got to checking, my local Ford dealer had 2 full sets in warehouse. Bought 1 set 6 tires, fresh tires made August this year. Called Michelin explained I had to buy because they had no tires. Michelin, agreed and at least paid for 1 tire, saving $453.00. Still paid more but on road. Michelin stepped up. Yes they told me it applies to cars and pop.
