Fold out bed / sofa loose from flooring

So after time, things rattle loose, I’m fixing the slide out sofa / bed that is loose from the floor. I’m amazed at how the mfg thinks small wood screws are going to hold this large asy in place long term, It won’t!! So I’ve attached a couple of pics of some L brackets I’ve added to the back of the sofa and used the seat belt boots and Lag bolts to hold the unit in place, now it’s solid!! ( had to do something similar to the theatre seats a year ago already ) plus while I was in here, I fixed the loose TV brackets that screws had fallen out. Click image for larger version

I had to do a similar repair on my 2015 Berkshire 400QL. The jackknife sofa was anchored by lag bolts which all pulled out. I installed flat head bolts from the under each the slide into the RV 5 years ago. Had to use flat head bolts because of clearance when the slide is brought in. Seems any seat with a seat belt on it so be a bit over engineered so there is no chance for it breaking free from it’s mounts. I reported the mod to FR. They have not had any other reports of this happening. You might want to pass this on to them as you are the only other person I know of who have had this problem. Thanx for sharing.
