Fresh water tank

Have 2021 Berkshire 34B. Is the only way to drain the tank is by running the pump? Canít find a drain plug for the tank. Not new to roving. Just confused with this model.

Open water compartment on curb side (two clips underneath)

In that compartment youíll find the drain lines....

Driverside water bay just behind and to the left of the sewage drain there is 1-1/4 " pull drain valve for the freshwater tank.

Found it. Thanks I drained the tank 3/4 by using the pump. Pulled drain valve nothing came out. Maybe gauge is off. Thanks again

On our coach, the drain and tank sensors are on opposite sides of the tank. My driveway has enough of a sideways grade that if I have the coach parked with the curb/passenger side downhill and open the drain, enough water remains in the tank to still register 1/4 tank with no water coming out of the drain.

I too have a 2021.5 Berk 34B. I found the fresh water drain. I am starting the process of winterizing and overcoming the learning curve. Step one is drain the fresh, and flush and drain the gray and black tanks. Done.

Next I found three low point drains. Two in the water bay, hot and cold, and one in the compartment in the bedroom where the hot water shut off and bypass valves are. The heater is bypassed and hot/cold lines to heater are closed. Before that I shut off power to the aqua heater.

Now I drain the aqua. Simple step.

Now running the water pump to purge that?

Am I ready to put in antifreeze? My concern is not getting it into the fresh water tank. There is a T valve where the fresh water tank is. Ithink I flip it closed. When closed to the tank, it is open to a drain.

Now my biggest concern is the shower miser. When I use the water pump to suck in antifreeze, how does this work with the shower miser so antifreeze doesn't end up in the fresh water tank. I wish Forest River had a plumbing schematic.

I do not have a showermizer- but you are correct - they are piped back to the fresh water tank.

I follow your steps - then blow out with air- then do antifreeze.

I just set the regulator on the compressor to 35psi.

Also do not forget-
ice maker line-
Black tank flush line
Fresh water fill line.
Line to washing machine- hot and cold- washing machine pump and Trap for washing machine.

Its a sad time thinking about winterizing.

The T valve shown is for the shower miser. You toggle to the drain when winterizing. This pic is in the water compartment on the passenger side Click image for larger version
