Good info. Most peoples reaction is to slam the brakes on a blowout.

Hope it's something no one ever needs to use, but thanks for a great post.

We had a front blowout on our Christmas trip to Texas. It was a complete sidewall blowout and the tire went flat instantly. I was surprised at how well the coach handled. I was driving about 55-60 mph and the coach kept tracking pretty straight. I didn't hop on the brakes and just pulled to the shoulder. Steering was hard like loosing power steering but tracking was good.
