Front windshield sun shade won't deploy

It goes up fine, but when the down
button is pushed, the motor makes the standard chirp noise, but the sun shade won't come down.

Does anyone know why?

Lost its memory and down position. US Shades (a Dicor company) has the instructions to reprogram.

Front windshield sun shade won't deploy

Seems like I have to program mine a lot. Maybe when I turn the main battery switches off it loses its memory. Anyway I carry this sheet with me.

Thanks for all the input guys, I found a wonderful video at "united shade.com" and it worked like a charm.

Thanks to everyone that contributed to this thread. We have a 2014 Georgetown 377XL and today for the first time the power shade on the windshield would stop 8" from fully closed. I jumped on the forum and did a quick search and found this thread. Shortly after, I had it reprogrammed. Didn't know before that the shade even had such a feature. Thanks again!
