Furnace Whistle

Has anyone had a problem with the kitchen furnace whistling LOUD. Went outside and it is coming from the air intake.

Check for burrs/sharp edges around the inlet & outlet. A fine toothed bastard half round/flat file will eliminate them.

When mine was new both furnaces did that, ended up changing the gas regulator on the propane tank. Over a year now & never had another issue.

So mystery might be solved. After 2 nights with the whistle all night was cold in Indiana this week. and 3 days at the dealer turns out both my furnaces have a known issue with the welds on the burner assemblies. According to manufacturer Suburban furnace the model 20 had a few with this issue.
