Generator Anti Tip Shut Off

I have a 2008 Berkshire with 7500 watt diesel generator. Is it customary to shut down when I hit potholes or large bumps in the road or when I am making steep turns at interstate entrances?

welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. I have never heard of this happening before I hope someone can come up with a reason why.

I posted and then thought it might we a loose wire somewhere in the control wiring that when hitting bumps or a steep angle it pulls away from the connection. My harley (I know not an RV) had a problem similar to this because I failed to put a star washer on a main electrical connector so it would shut down (vibration) and then restart. Check the wiring.

Check your oil level in generator, if low it could be low oil level shut-off.

Thanks all. Loose wire connection makes sense since I had starter motor on the generator replaced recently.

What is level of diesel fuel in tank. Generator will shut down if level in tank reads less than 1/4. Hard stops or sharp turns can cause fuel level pick up in tank to read less than 1/4.
