Generator hours panel readout

I'd like to keep track of generator hours without opening its slide and reading the Hobbs meter.

In the AGS menu the Magnum ME-RC remote wall panel says No Comm and no hours shown. However, I think this might only be available with the optional Magnum AGS; right?

The Plex panel AGS Status always shows zero hours for Total Run Time. This is where it would be most useful to me.

And no hours on the LBCU display.

I don't need them all to display hours, but would like to have the info from one of them.

Am I missing a feature that FR included with your rig or do we all have to open the slide to get the hours?

Thanks.

On our '20 45A, you can view the gen hours on the manual start/stop page in the Plex panel and also in the Plex panel in the wet bay.Click image for larger version

Thanks, Ty; got it.

Although it's about 3 hours less than the Hobbs meter on the gen, it's close enough. I'm guessing that the gen had 3 hours of testing before the PP got plugged into it at FR.

Mine is off by .9 - I figure the same. 3 hours seems sorta excessive to me though.

There was a recall at one time from freightliner that required reflashing of the lcbu. Pretty much everyone on these forums who commented saw a difference in those numbers-the true number didn’t carry over to the display. I just know the base numbers are different between the lcbu and the generator display. I’m not sure if the newer coaches had that done or not.

I don't think the generator is wired into the LBCU on my coach. That item in the LBCU always shows 0.0.
