GFCI tripping

Hi All,
The GFCI labelled kitchen continually is tripping. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of this circuit. I have found only two outlets. Above sink and in dinette area. Recently changed circuit breaker but new one is doing same thing. Coach is a 2016 34QS. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Did you also have power at bathroom sink outlet and outside outlet? Try unplugging everything on the circuit and narrow it down.

Harvey,

The Kitchen has a GFCI on the circuit breaker panel, as you've noted.

On my coach, the Kitchen breaker also powers an outlet in the lower part of the Dinette Seat. As supplied, the Coach only had those two plugs on the Kitchen breaker. (I did wire an extra plug under the Kitchen Cabinet before I found the second plug.)

The plugs that FR uses don't have an electrical box, but they are a special unit that has push-on connectors for the power wires. You could turn off the power and remove those plugs from the wall to see if something has gotten into the backs of the plugs that is tripping the GFCI.

The Bathroom is on a separate circuit.

Thanks Gordon. Just thought it was odd there was only two outlets on the circuit. BTW, did you get your slide repaired?

Slide problems

Harvey,
I haven't got my slide fixed yet. I'll make a full post when I've made progress. In the meantime, I received a replacement Schwintek mechanism from FR (about $1400), and my next step is to open up the tube of parts and study them. I just got home yesterday.

The mobile tech I had engaged to work on the slide seems to be backing out on the repair, so I'm planning to do it myself. I'm pretty handy and my brother is an even handier retired mechanical engineer with a machine shop in his garage. Right now, I have more faith in the two of us than in my mobile tech.

Sounds like you have the confidence to do it yourself - congrats! many of us do the same with many of our 'repairs', although... my column/gear was replaced at the Thor customer service center in Wakarusa back in early 2017, and they have it done in less than an afternoon - so, it's possible to handle it yourself, I'm sure...

Gordon,
Based on the projects you've undertaken, I don't think you'll have a problem. Good luck!
