I never heard it called that, but I think what you are looking for is the dial in the 1/2 bath vanity cabinet.

I looked all over in the main bath figuring it would be near the shower and the heater itself. And of course the boss covered it with stuff in the half bath. The joys of a learning a new motorhome. The GMC is used to adjust the flow of fuel to the heater thus allowing the change of btu. I am told that the variance in temp is 20 degree's to 60 degree's of incoming water temp.
