Now I use the biggest micron filter I can find. My plan is to get a large filter out side the MH. I think that will improve the water heater results.

I too have removed the water filter cartridge.
Phil - What filter are you using? Lowes / Home Depot?

Thanks for the info Guys. I will try removing the filter from in line and see if that helps the situation. I don't know if our shower head mixes air or not. It is the one that came with the coach. Will check that out today and let you know.

There is too much variation in water pressure at campgrounds to be effective. I will say that it is better than the first generation but it still sucks.

I'm not following this, how come you don't leave the setting at dish water hot and use the cold and hot water handles in the shower to get he temperature mix you want?

I guess we were trying to follow the factory directions by not using the cold water. Don't really have another answer. Will try that for sure our next trip.

If you have the Gen 2, check the instructions from Girard and it will mention about mixing cold water in to cool the water if needed.

I believe the shower head you are thinking about is the Oxygenics shower head. We have had one for a while now and really like it.

I am getting rid of my tankless for several reasons. First, I don't like real hot showers and to get to a temp I am comfortable with I have the hot on full and add cold. As we boondock a lot this is a waste of fresh water. Also, the tankless units use an induced draft blower and that takes battery power, much more than the circuitry of a standard type of rv water heated. Yes it uses more propane but we can turn it in, bring the water up to temp and shut it off. The water in the insulated tank stay hot for a long time.
As alway, just my opinion.
