Phil,
Got in touch with Randy and Andy at FR and they are over-nighting the parts. They should be here by end of day tomorrow. Hopefully the mobile rv techs diagnosed the problem correctly. With any luck, I should be on the road by mid day Friday.
Will update as things progress.

Good news. Hope you can get your plans worked out with the reservations and didn't lose to much over it. Safe travels.

Tom, what part broke? Would be great if you could post pics, especially of things are torn apart for access.

Cajun,
The gears in the motor/gear box stripped. I just got the replacement and am waiting for the mobile tech to install. There is an access panel above the top bunk toward the hallway. When that is removed you can access the motor and cables.

Mobile tech just left and about to get on the road. New motor/gear box fixed the problem and slide works well now.

If the gearbox is shot you will need to replace it (or remove it completely) before you can close the slide.
Here is some info on your (I believe) system.
