Have you checked the transfer switch under the metal cover? There are two breaker like switched under the metal cover one is for the shore power and the other is for the generator. I would also have somebody plug the shore power cord into the power and source and see if a audible click and snap is heard when the shore power is connected. I am betting that the shore power side of the transfer switch isn't switching to pass the shore power to the coach. I will see if i can a find a pic of a transfer switch and the internal "breakers"/switches

This is insane as we are not getting power to the rig and i have to use the generator. Any suggestions on what to check?
What the info on your coach? what year, what floorplan?

If he has power to the residential frig and Microwave these units use the inverter then converter is bad. The other alternative he may have tripped several GFI circuits. also his transfer switch witch was replace recently and may have gone bad again. Later RJD

Right. I’m saying it might be a while before he answers posted questions.

50 amp outlet at a home just may be 240 volts. Nasty things will happen to the rv.

Not sure what you mean an RV 50 amp should be 240v which is made up of separate 50a/120v and is a 4 prong plug. Since it was running for a while I doubt its wired as an appliance 50a circuit IMO
